Primary Job Responsibilities
  • You will be a trusted advisor, mentor, coach, andpart time psychologist to business owners and stakeholders looking to plan their business legacy.
  • Research and develop a client base thatare looking to transition their business to the next phase ofexistence.
  • Mine existing Sikich clients as well as bringing in new clients to thefirm.
  • Develop a short term andlong-termbusiness plan for growth inclusive of target markets, targetorganizations,andrealistic revenue goals.
  • Develop collateral that demonstrates the value of Sikich as the partner of choice forBusinessSuccession Planning.
  • Youwill develop relationships across the Sikich Service Lines that will becritical toclientengagements.
  • Provide regularreporting and forecastingonactivity and potential revenue.
  • Champion people initiatives in partnership with the Human Capital Team, including recruiting, retaining, and training the firm's up and coming professionals.
  • Provide thought leadership and insightful recommendations surrounding a broad range of complex issues by leveraging expertise and experience.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 15 years ofexperienceinHigh-Net-WorthWealth Management, InvestmentBanking,Tax,or another financialdiscipline managing complex organizational divestitures.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a businessdiscipline from an accredited university.
  • A CEPAor comparablecertificationwould be highly desirable.
  • A history ofcollaboratingsuccessfully with business ownershipboth financially and emotionally.
  • A hands-on self-starter with the ability to manage in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • An individual capable of articulating and selling ideas and concepts in all mediums, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • A leadership style characterized by straightforwardness, approachability, team orientation and collaboration.
  • An individual with an in-check ego who leads by example.
In addition, specific skills/experience required are as follows:
