Responsible for administration of Tempur Sealy's employee benefits programs, including retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, and insurance policies such as health, life, and disability. Works with the HR Business Partners to drive employee awareness/participation and effectively communicate the value of benefits program. Develops recommendations to help Tempur Sealy maintain a competitive total rewards package. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:
- Support the ongoing assessment and optimization of US and Canada benefits programs
- Manage the administration of our US benefits programs in partnership with our benefits administration vendor(s) and broker
- Partner with HR leadership and other key stakeholders in the design and execution of an impactful benefits strategy - including plan design, offerings, and education/communication.
- Work directly with brokers and carriers to continuously review plan offerings; make recommendations to optimize spend and value for employees in alignment with Tempur Sealy's total rewards philosophy
- Manage the execution of annual open enrollment for US benefits, including all related HR training, employee communications, and system configuration
- Prepare analysis, reports, presentations, and proposals for recommendations around benefits spend, wellness utilization, and ROI of programs
- Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors (i.e., carriers, brokers, etc.)
- Manage the implementation and roll-out of key Benefits and Wellness initiatives, including communication and training materials to educate managers and employees on those programs
- Develop framework for regular auditing/review of our benefits administration processes to ensure efficiency and quality of data and processes (401k, Health Savings Accounts, ACA reporting etc.)
- Partner with HRIS and Payroll team to ensure benefits deduction and accounting data is properly maintained in ADP system of record
- Oversee the administration of the Leave of Absence (LOA) process
- Maintain subject matter expertise on Company pension plans and multi-employer pension plan regulatory updates; clearly articulate impact to the leadership team as needed
- Own 401(k) administration, including acting as secretary for the 401(k) plan, working with our 401(k) advisors and record keepers to manage our plan, and managing 401(k) data and processes
- Effectively manage and align Benefits team resources
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 5 Years of Functional HR & Benefits Administration Experience
- 2 Years of People Management Experience
- SPHR or SHRM-CP preferred
