The general pay scale for this position at MOH is $24.78 - $38.13. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.

SCOPE:

Under direct supervision, assists in all aspects of the corporations marketing program. Responsible for marketing functions including, but not limited to: market analysis, market research, marketing plans, field marketing programs, advertising copy development, and product line development. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Implements marketing plans including analyzing competitive products and marketing techniques, strategies, consumer research, and marketing legislation. Assists in the development of marketing plans for new products and services.
-Assists in the coordination of all company communications programs. Assists in designing, implementing, and coordinating market research policies and programs. Participates in market research studies to determine and define customer needs.
-Assists in monitoring markets, industries, and companies to maintain an updated information base. Recommends product or service modifications based on marketing research or communication with appropriate field staff. Conducts financial analysis/modeling for the Marketing function as needed.
-Assists in the development and distribution of pertinent reports that prove beneficial in supporting marketing programs and management. Ensures timely generation and summarization of reports as appropriate.
-Participates in the statistical analysis of trending information and estimates of market development and potential. Implements advertising policies and assists in the formulation of general advertising campaigns. Implements advertising creation and media placement.
-Reviews and evaluates the work of outside advertising agencies. Serves as a liaison between the company and outside agencies as needed.
-Reviews, edits, and writes copy for advertisements, brochures, booklets, and direct mail pieces. Assists in the development of annual objectives, programs, and projects which will improve the efficiency of company advertising.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related degree and 0-3 years related work experience. Prior marketing experience in a Health Care setting preferred.
