Arcfield is expanding to support the DoD Space Development Agency (SDA) and is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer with a focus on requirements management and program integration/verification. SDA aims to revolutionize support to the warfighter by focusing on "good-enough" capabilities, risk-taking, and employing novel business models. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, evaluate and modify end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle
• Generate quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics
• Ensure requirements comply with customer requirements and government standards through formal verification methods
• Translate high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower level detailed implementation requirements
• Assess requirements products and ensure that requirement products remain aligned with customer equities and are properly decomposed into lower-level requirement products
• Develop and maintain Requirement Verification Traceability Matrices (RVTM) including traces to lower-level requirements
• Identify gaps and issues with requirements and provide recommendations substantiated by analysis to address; support management of requirements products
• Create Requests for Change (RFCs) to update requirement baseline and steward the RFCs through the Configuration Management (CM) process
• Develop and manage the integration and verification of products including but not limited to key interface verification, compatibility, and interoperability
• Develop test plans for ground-based and on-orbit systems
• Coordinate execution of corresponding integration, verification, and test events and evaluation of results; assess verification evidence for sell-off

Required:

• Must possess and be able to maintain an active Top Secret / SCI Clearancewith Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering related field with 5-7 years of experience, or 3-5 years of experience with a Master's degree in engineering related field, or 0-2 years of experience years with Ph.D. in Engineering related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical audiences and produce clear, logical, and concise products
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under only general direction and to independently provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
• The ability to travel as necessary to satisfy assigned tasks
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or JAMA
• Flexibility to execute additional duties as assigned

Desired:

• Advanced degrees or certifications in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
• Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) / Digital Engineering
• Experience working with the Federal Government/DoD
