Advantage Technical
is hiring a CNC Programmer for a direct hire position with a premier company specializing in high-volume production equipment for commercial applications.

Salary: Based on experience and skills, with flexibility for market rates up to $50/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Develop and prove out CNC programs, including generating tool lists and setup sheets
  • Acquire required tooling to support new and existing jobs
  • Update and edit existing programs as necessary
  • Design custom workholding fixtures for CNC machining using SolidWorks (e.g., jaws, vacuum fixtures)
  • Read and compare NC file code used in CNC machining centers



Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Programming CNC machining centers using CamWorks and/or MasterCam 3D
  • Programming directly from CAD models, with PDF drawings and parts lists
  • Strong understanding of hole preparation for helicoils, keenserts, PEM inserts, dowel pins, etc., per manufacturer and military specifications
  • Proficient in GD&T and linear/ordinate dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Basic computer skills, including file management and use of Windows, Microsoft Office, and Adobe
  • Skilled in designing CNC workholding fixtures using SolidWorks
  • Ability to read and compare NC file code to ensure machining accuracy
