Position Overview

The Associate Business Systems Analyst serves as a liaison between business users, IT Application Analysts, and Operations Analytics. This position leverages their understanding of ERP systems and their application in business processes to assist in analyzing, designing, testing, and implementing solutions to improve business operations. Under the guidance of senior colleagues, this role will work with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance system performance. This position is also responsible for leveraging standard tools and resources to troubleshoot issues, provide training to end-users, and ensure that systems are aligned with business goals. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid role based in our Madison, WI office.

Essential Duties

Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the day-to-day business with routine tasks and open issues as first level support for end users.
  • Provide production support to end users by troubleshooting system issues, analyzing processes, and recommending course of action.
  • Assist other business analysts to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Translate needs of the business into applicable system design solutions.
  • Assist in efforts to analyze, troubleshoot, and improve our growing business with SAP enhancements; including process and system design, testing, validation, user training, and post go-live support for low complexity changes
  • Partner with IT to assist in functional testing, work with end-users to complete and document user acceptance testing, write system/user documentation, and train end users on functionality.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain training materials.
  • Support other analysts and SMEs to create business process documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.

  • Ability and means to travel between Madison locations.
  • Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field; or High School Diploma/General Education Degree and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting operations/supply chain business processes in systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP.
  • 1+ years of experience in analyst role in an operations, supply chain, and/or manufacturing environment such as Planner, Buyer, or Logistics Analyst
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori as a business user or in technical support role.
  • Experience at a company with Computer Systems Validation processes in place or equivalent best practices and of change control as it relates to application systems.

Salary Range:

$67,000.00 - $109,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
