*Role Overview: *
TEKsystems is seeking a consultant to assist with desktop security vulnerability remediation at their client in Plymouth, WI. The role involves ensuring that security agents are installed and functioning properly on systems, using tools like KACE, Automox, and Rapid 7. The consultant will also manage patch deployment and monitor systems to ensure patches are applied correctly. *Key Responsibilities:* * Agent Management: Ensure agents for desktop/patch management and vulnerability management tools are installed and operational. This may require onsite work and regular monitoring. * Patch Management: Use Automox to deploy patches, monitor their application, and handle reboots if necessary. * Communication and Organization: Follow detailed instructions, escalate issues to onsite representatives, and communicate with senior team members for troubleshooting. *Requirements:* * Education: Associate's degree in IT. * Experience: 6+ months of experience in an IT corporate environment. Specific patching experience is a plus but not required. * Skills: Understanding of networks and group policies, strong communication, and organizational skills. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
