Area of Interest: Allied Health Salary Range: $30.45-$45.67 Sign On Bonus: $10,000 FTE/Hours per pay period: .80 Department: Respiratory Care Shift: Fri-Sun Days Job ID: 163959 Overview Registered Respiratory Therapist Weekend Package Base +50% Muscatine, IA Under the direction of the Respiratory Therapy Manager, the general supervision of the Lead Therapist, and with the guidance of the Medical Director, the individual will be required to perform Respiratory Therapy Service modalities as ordered by physician to in-patients and out-patients throughout the Trinity Medical Center facilities. Responsibilities Patient Experience/Patient Care Provide respiratory care modalities, therapies, and diagnostic testing, including oxygen therapies and medication delivery. Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of services provided. Provides education to the patient and their family. Serves as resource to healthcare team, may be asked to serve as mentor to others and assigned oversight of student during clinical rotations. Equipment Process and provide various equipment, necessary to carry out assigned duties including diagnostic and ventilator support of patients both invasive and non-invasive. Qualifications Education: Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program. License(s)/Certification(s): Iowa Respiratory Care Licensure or Respiratory Care & Polysomnography Practitioner Registered Respiratory Therapy Tech with NBRC CPR upon hire ACLS/NRP within 6 months from date of hire *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
