REPORTS TO: Mechanical Work Center Supervisor

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

* Cleans and disassembles incoming broken components.

* Repair or assemble new product as stated on service order.

* Responsible for assembly of a quality product for the customer, meeting test requirements.

* Performs the data entry needed in service orders for building the new or repaired units.

* Performs Cycle counts and Physical inventory when required.

* Control of data entry.

* Promote a safe working environment.

OBJECTIVES OR GOALS: Toprovide a quality build unit and passing

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Match service order with serial number of unit.

2. Disassemble and clean broken components.

3. Assemble new product or repair the unit.

4. Test unit to meet requirements.

5. Rework units if they fail test perimeters.

6. Paint and apply labels to finished goods.

7. Data entry of consumable parts and labor, documenting defects, etc.

8. Disposes of used oil, rubber products and scrap metal in proper containers.

9. Storage of controlled documentation.

10. Observes all safety rules and practices.

11. Peforms cycle counts or Physical Inventory when required.

12. Performs special projects upon request.

13. Maintains Good Housekeeping skills.

14. Performs any other duties as directed by Supervisor

15. Work overtime as needed,

Work Experience/ Knowledge:



  • Minimium 3 years of mechanical work experience
  • Minimium of 3 years of experience working in a Warehouse
  • Confidentiality, reasoning, language, follow-through, decision-making and problem solving. A flexible and professional manner.
  • Complete understanding on measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Complete understanding of power and hand tools including torque setting tools.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Math skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communications.
  • Preferable experience with SAP operating system.
  • Safe forklift and jib crane operation.
  • An understanding of the fundamentals of electricity.
  • An understanding of electrical measuring equipment such as multi-meters, amp meters, and power supplies.
  • An understanding of pneumatic equipment and tools such as grinder, cut off wheel, press, chisel, wrench, etc.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Sense of urgency.



Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Perferred:

Associates Degree in a Mechanical Trade Program

Compensation and Benefits



  • Salary Range: $31,570-$50,400DOE
