Summary: The Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) Trainer will provide training to their state and is responsible for developing, managing, and providing the training necessary to develop and maintain a high level of proficiency of the contractor provided MFH and SOS Coordinator staff. They will assist with case transfers between components and also assist with case transfers from Casualty Mortuary Affairs Operations Division (CMAOD).

- Professional Development training (program, professional, personal &
- wellness)
- Annual Training:
- Shall coordinate and conduct virtual MFH and SOS Annual Training events/conferences
- Develop a draft, agenda, training package and training evaluation forms and submit to the COR-RA for approval 45 days in advance of the virtual training event.
- Submit an After-Action Report (AAR) to the COR-RA and the HR SOLUTIONS PORTAL days of the completion of the training event. The AAR shall summarize the details of the event, number of attendees, topics covered, summary of training evaluations, and any lessons learned or recommendations for future training events.
- Regional Training - Additional Regional training events may be conducted virtually.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with SOS databases and systems.
- Proficiency in using training development software and tools.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in database management and reporting.
- Ability to develop and implement training programs.
- Knowledge of survivor benefits and military policies.
- Strong organizational and operational skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of related experience.
- Extensive experience in survivor outreach services and training.
- Experience in program management and development.
- Prior experience in training and curriculum development.
- Experience with database management and reporting.
- Willingness to travel as required by the role.
- Must have a favorable FBI fingerprint card check and initiate a Tier 1 or equivalent investigation (as determined by the Government) before access to Government system can be granted and shall maintain the level of security required for the life of the contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a related discipline.
