Summary: The Education and Incentives Counseling will support the client by supporting the recruitment and retention of Soldiers by offering expert counseling on military educational benefits. This role is essential in both recruiting new Soldiers and retaining current ones by providing comprehensive information and support regarding educational opportunities available through military service. Mano Lani is a leader in physical and cyber security, financial management, logistics, and programming management.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Works closely with the senior leadership and fellow teammates to ensure the readiness and retention of over 11,000 personnel within the GAARNG.
- You must be comfortable working with an executive leadership team and maintain a professional and positive attitude.
- Requires a strong background in recruiting and the retention process. HR background is a plus.
- Daily tasks include administrative, data analysis, and coordination within the team to ensure goals are met.
- Proficient in the use of military systems such as GIMS and IPPS-A.
- Experience using standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of DEERS/RAPIDS systems, federal regulations regarding ID card and CAC issuance, and related processes.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and compliance with DoD regulations for sensitive information management.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail for verifying and managing documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Ability to conduct briefings and training sessions effectively.
- Completion of the Incentive Manager Course (Distance learning & resident phases).
- Annual training on NSLDS updates and best practices.
- Quarterly training on documentation standards and GIMS procedures.
- Ongoing training in customer service excellence and conflict resolution techniques.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience performing general labor functions
- Must be a US Citizen
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrician experience preferred
- Military education certification or related credentials preferred
