RN - Medical Acute 2 South - Encinitas - Nights

This is a benefit-eligible, full-time position (72 hours every two weeks), working 12-hour Night shifts at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas in the Medical Acute 2 South unit.

Position is eligible for New Hire Retention Incentive up to $7K.

With over 138 beds and a wide variety of specialty services, this sprawling Encinitas hospital is designed to fit every patient's needs.

We invite you to join Medical Acute 2 South, a 32-bed unit where you will provide primary care to patients dealing with cardiac, pulmonary, diabetic, neurologic, cognitive orthopedic, CIWA, psychiatric issues; observe progress and update patient charts.

RNs work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care and enjoy a well-managed, cohesive working environment.

• Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title

* Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:

• Current CA RN License
• One (1) year of recent RN experience
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS Certification
• Recent RN experience in an acute care setting
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Epic EHR experience
