This opportunity is in the Accounting & Finance department

Our Accounting & Finance department is dynamic and collaborative. Role Description:

As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in managing premium billing and collection processes for direct premiums written. You'll serve as a key point of contact between brokers, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure timely collection and resolution of accounts. Your day-to-day will include reconciling premium invoices, processing refunds and write-offs, updating broker statement contacts, and preparing documentation for monthly A/R meetings and audits. This position also supports monthly billing closings in PeopleSoft, participates in user acceptance testing, and helps maintain procedural documentation. Non-exempt: Please note, this position is classified as Non-Exempt under federal wage and hour laws. As such, you will be required to clock in and out for all hours worked and will be eligible for overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a given workweek.

Qualifications:

Education:

An Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Required Qualifications:



  • 3 or more years of collection experience in the insurance industry or related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and familiarity with business office applications.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines while working independently.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 3817 Northwest Expressway Suite 1000, Oklahoma City, OK. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Detail-oriented, organized, and accountable.
  • Experience using PeopleSoft is a plus.
  • Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues and follow established procedures.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
