St. Mary's Medical Center is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join one of their family medicine practices.

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Position Details

    Full-time opportunity
  • See patients of all ages
  • Particiapte in call rotation
  • 40 hours/week
  • Clinic hours Monday-Friday
  • Join a well-established practice in the medical community
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working outpatient is preferred
  • Must be familiar with advanced concepts, practices, and procedures within the specialty

Qualifications

  1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
  2. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
  3. BLS upon hire and maintain current.
  4. One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner/physician assistant preferred.
  5. Previous experience with electronic health record
