Responsibilities

Ingersoll Family Medicine is seeking a patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join their healthcare team. In this role, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare providers with patient care, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. If you have a passion for providing excellent care to patients across all age groups, we encourage you to apply and join our Team!

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs.
  • Assist provider with patient examination, treatment and minor surgical procedures.
  • May perform specimen collection, phlebotomy and specimen analysis.
  • Medication and/or vaccine administration.
  • Care Coordination via medication refills, prior authorizations and referral scheduling.
  • Test result management and tracking as determined by provider.
  • Return patient calls and inquiries via phone or patient portal.

Qualifications
  • Current Certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • High school diploma.
  • BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.
  • Knowledge of clinical skill techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments.
