Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a Fulfillment & Shipping Supervisor who is responsible for leading daily operations within the shipping and fulfillment departments. This role focuses on team leadership, workflow optimization, and financial oversight to ensure that departmental goals align with broader company objectives. Success in this role requires strong operational knowledge and a proactive approach to process improvement. Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage fulfillment and shipping teams to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
- Monitor employee performance, provide ongoing training, and support career development
- Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work culture
- Oversee all distribution center functions, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping
- Set and drive daily and weekly performance goals aligned with company targets
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Manage operational budgets, control supply and labor costs, and monitor financial performance
- Use data to guide decisions on resource allocation and process optimization
- Introduce cost-saving strategies without compromising service quality
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular safety training and enforce safe equipment use and workplace practices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
You Must Have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution operations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Experience managing financial aspects of operations, including budgeting and cost control
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and industry best practices
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment
We Would Also Prefer:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Background in logistics, inventory control, or supply chain management
- Familiarity with lean principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - 70,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
