ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Duties Scan trays as they come from Final Inspection to produce a "shipped" status in the computer system Print billing invoices and distribute them by tray number into trays that were just scanned Wrap glasses and/or lenses in foam and the billing invoice with a rubber band File appropriate paperwork accordingly Distribute wrapped jobs into the appropriate bins as to not ship to wrong customer/account Place empty trays on cart to be taken back out to Receiving At the end of the night box jobs up accordingly, place appropriate address label and bar code label on box, tape the box, and place box in a pile or bag according to courier service Keep records of material sent Secondary Duties Receive frames from customers according to established process. Keep workstation clean and assist in cleaning the department when work is caught up Restock supplies QUALIFICATIONS Education High School Diploma or GED Experience None required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Able and willing to work as a team Able to read and write English Language well Have good eyesight, hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and quick with hands Work without supervision Must be available to work Overtime and Saturdays when needed Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, and color vision. Safety Requirements The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate Basic understanding of the Injury and Illness Prevention Program and the Hazard Communication Program Closed toe shoe with heel support Use seat belt while driving company vehicle and obey all road signs and laws
