Job Summary As a team member of our global new product development team, a Senior Motion Control Engineer is responsible for defining, designing, testing, documenting, and releasing new multi axis motion systems for Nordson Electronic Solutions. A successful Motion Control Engineer will use sound engineering principles to develop products that meet or exceed our product requirements ensuring our new products meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards while delivering new products that provide overall value and performance for our customers. In addition, the Motion Control Engineer will work to meet our phase-gate requirements delivering products that are on-time, meet cost targets, and are of the highest quality. Working alone or as part of a larger project team, the Motion Control Engineer will successfully collaborate with others and apply an innovative attitude and energy to help our customers and Nordson succeed. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Experience Requirements Requires a M.S. degree with specialization that includes control systems plus 4 - 7 years of experience or equivalent relevant experience. PhD is a plus.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Compensation Salary range for this position is: $107,000 to $132,000 annually. Working Conditions and Physical Demands Office environment.
