This postdoctoral fellowship will explore the impact of seizure and spreading depolarizations on memory processes using a combination of in vivo optogenetics, fiber photometry, and electrophysiology in behaving mice. Our lab (www.boyceneurolab.com) is looking to recruit a soon to be graduating or recently graduated PhDwith expertise in neurophysiological recordings in behaving rodents who is excited to work in a collaborative environment. Experience in hippocampal neurobiology a bonus! Salary - UNM hires at the NIH rate dependent on experience (Full-time, 40 hr/week) + benefits Start date - late summer or early fall 2025 Why join?
