Description

1st Shift Position



  • Performs process audits to assure conformance to documented criteria.
  • Preparation and maintenance of PPAP packages.
  • Preferred to have someone with CMM experience.
  • Performs receiving inspection for steel, purchased parts, and outside processing as needed.
  • Inform Quality Manager and or Quality Engineer of any unsafe working conditions.
  • Initiates action to prevent the occurrence on any nonconformity relating to product, process, and quality systems.
  • Verifies production control for corrective action and documentation, per applicable work instructions.
  • Performs outgoing inspection, including visual check, label and standard pack, gage as required, and document all results
  • Treats all other team members with respect and dignity.
  • EMS for GTI plant. Work with corporate for adherence to laws.
  • Manage quality alert system to ensure proper inspection is performed with minimal impact to the process.
  • Monitor fast response process and perform corrective action validation as required.
  • Manage quality wall process to ensure proper flow, documentation and resources are efficient and effective.
  • Monitor weld tear down trends to ensure customer requirements are achieved and implement proactive improvements to prevent weld failures and scrap.
  • Perform weld tear down testing per control plan requirements.
  • Performs other essential functions as assigned.


Requirements



  • High School diploma and/ or GED preferred coupled with Quality Experience. College classes are required for this position. The company will pay for classes if passing grades are received.
