Description 1st Shift Position Performs process audits to assure conformance to documented criteria. Preparation and maintenance of PPAP packages. Preferred to have someone with CMM experience. Performs receiving inspection for steel, purchased parts, and outside processing as needed. Inform Quality Manager and or Quality Engineer of any unsafe working conditions. Initiates action to prevent the occurrence on any nonconformity relating to product, process, and quality systems. Verifies production control for corrective action and documentation, per applicable work instructions. Performs outgoing inspection, including visual check, label and standard pack, gage as required, and document all results Treats all other team members with respect and dignity. EMS for GTI plant. Work with corporate for adherence to laws. Manage quality alert system to ensure proper inspection is performed with minimal impact to the process. Monitor fast response process and perform corrective action validation as required. Manage quality wall process to ensure proper flow, documentation and resources are efficient and effective. Monitor weld tear down trends to ensure customer requirements are achieved and implement proactive improvements to prevent weld failures and scrap. Perform weld tear down testing per control plan requirements. Performs other essential functions as assigned. Requirements High School diploma and/ or GED preferred coupled with Quality Experience. College classes are required for this position. The company will pay for classes if passing grades are received.
