Responsibilities will be diverse and multifaceted, requiring excellent communication and customer service skills. This position will have responsibility for assessing the needs of new and continuing students at the two Enrollment Services Center (Pecos and Williams) and assisting students in using the https://www.maricopa.edu/become-student website and understanding self service functions and enrollment processes. This position will provide Tier 1 Level assisting to all Enrollment Service Areas: Advisement, Careers, Veteran Services, International Education, Financial Aid, Testing, Early College (ACE, Hoop & Dual Enrollment) and Student Business Services. Essential Functions 75% - Assist at the Welcome Desk at both Pecos and Williams Campus; making sure students are being served at the front by triaging by providing these functions: Application assistance, ID Authentication assistance, matriculating students and term activating them, Processing prerequisite overrides, Processing Residency, when possible, edit students phone numbers and emails in IDME when needing help resetting passwords, and putting students in line to the appropriate department when we are not able to perform the task in our Dynamic Line Management software. Assisting with Welcome Desk staff scheduling on occasion. Providing tier one assistance on: Financial Aid assistance, first semester advising when needed, and Early College assistance when needed 20% - Assist student in our Live Enrollment Support, and responding to students' questions in our TextAim enrollment texting software. 5% - Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution, and one year full-time of student services or college teaching experience or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, customer service, or related student development programs. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications 1. Associate's degree or higher earned degree 2. One-year minimum direct experience serving students or customers in an educational or business setting 3. One-year minimum experience retrieving and entering information using an online student information system (such as Peoplesoft, Banner) 4. One-year minimum experience with technology software such as Conex, CRM, Excel or similar programs. 5. Bilingual - Spanish Speaker preferred Special Working Conditions 1.May require some evenings or weekends 2. May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen 3. May be required to lift or carry up to #25 lbs 4.May be required to work at multiple sites or locations 5.
