Description/Job Summary: The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Technical Director in Kings Point, NY. This leadership role will support the project on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for ensuring the projects achieve the required quality of deliverables, within the specified constraints of time and cost, and to achieve the potential benefits defined by the client. The Technical Director shall implement and execute a comprehensive operations and maintenance program to ensure buildings and grounds are properly monitored and maintained to meet the functional, appearance, safety, security, and environmental standards. A successful candidate must be an effective communicator, have strong organizational and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving abilities, and the desire to innovate designs as well as the work processes. The Technical Director must have at least Ten (10) years of O&M/Facilities Management type experience, with at least 5 years in a program management/supervisory role. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities/Duties The Technical Director is the primary lead and company representative for all business and client relationships, personnel management, and operations of their assigned projects and program. The primary responsibility at all times is to ensure that The Building People's core values are represented both internally and through all external (client-facing) interactions.

During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
