Job Description

General Summary:

The Manager, HCE Contract Management will manage end to end engagement process of Health Care Professionals and Health Care Organizations to support Commercial, Enabling and G&A functions. This role will work cross-functionally with Legal, OBIE, Meetings and Events, Global Spend Reporting and Procurement to ensure that all HCE engagements are processed timely and compliantly. The role will also be responsible for managing all Ad Boards contracts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage, negotiate and execute all HCP Consulting contracts, ensuring use of adequate templates, accurate calculation of Fair Market Value and appropriate review by Functional areas - OBIE or Legal
  • Collaborate across CM groups to provide support with supplier contracts as needed
  • Identify process and system improvement opportunities for end to end HCE process, including Ad Boards, Transparency reporting and Sponsorships
  • Execute change management activities related to deployment of new HCE engagement tool
  • Organize and lead planning meetings with Meetings and Events team to ensure adequate pace of Ad Board planning and contract execution
  • Manage all ad boards contracts timely and compliantly in collaboration with business and other functional collaborators
  • Provide guidance to business owners with end to end HCE engagement process as needed
  • Collaborate with business owners to ensure Transparency reporting is complete and accurate based on managed HCE engagements

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of third party risk management and contracting; proficient in applying knowledge in day to day contract management tasks
  • Proficient in project management and organizational skills. Track record of successful execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Able to independently establish and maintain effective business partner relationships with stakeholders; consistently gains stakeholder respect and trust;
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal; able to clearly articulate opinions in concise and persuasive manner.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, challenging status quo and consistently looking to identify opportunity to improve processes and tools.
  • Proficient in driving change management activities. Comfortable speaking in front of groups and/or leading meetings
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment; ability to cultivate and maintain effective business partner relationships through earned respect and trust.
  • Foundational knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry suppliers, categories and marketplace
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • 4-6 years of experience in a contracting role or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay Range:

$108,000 - $162,000

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

In this Remote-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1. Remote: work remotely five days per week and come into the office on occasion - you're always welcome on-site; or select
2. Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
3. On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
