The University of Virginia's Capitol Construction and Renovations (CCR) team, within Facilities Management (FM) has an exciting opportunity for a ReUse Store Technician. CCR supports FM's goal of providing consistent, cost-effective, and reliable electrical construction and maintenance to the University community. The UVA ReUse Store supports the collection, sale, and reuse of surplus property, which includes university-owned unneeded property, including unclaimed, lost or abandoned property, regardless of age and condition. The program supports the University's sustainability efforts by extending the life cycle of items that may have otherwise been directed to a landfill. We are seeking a ReUse Store Technician who will assist with the logging in the new inventory and invoicing properly outgoing stock, as well as the loading/unloading of property. The incumbent greets customers and vendors and understands their needs. The ReUse Store Technician must have strong customer service skills and be adept at using computers. Duties Include:

For this position, the selected candidate will need to complete the required background checks prior to their start date. Compensation: Anticipated Hiring Range: $18.00 - $22.00 ($37,440 - $45,760 per year). This is a full-time position with UVA benefits. Employee benefits package highlights include:
Physical Demands: Employee will be required to crawl, kneel, squat, bend and twist in order to perform their work. Employee must travel around job sites.
