Join our Emergency Services Department at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista, serving San Diego County's South Bay communities. We offer 24-hour emergency care and are consistently recognized for clinical excellence and patient safety by Healthgrades. Our department leads innovative efforts to reduce patient wait times and was the first to implement a sepsis code, serving as a model for all Scripps Health Emergency Departments. We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 24-bed Emergency Department, where you will provide direct patient care, including assessment, care planning, and progress evaluation. You will lead the care team in ensuring optimal patient outcomes while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
• Active California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association
• NRP Healthcare Provider Certification through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire date
• 1 year in the last 2 years of adult emergency services experience
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• CEN - Certified Emergency Nursing
