Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Configuration and CDRL Data Manager (CM/DM) supporting a high-priority acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC). The Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division is a unique Air Force activity operating from Lackland AFB that provides life cycle management for IA and other critical systems. The division's primary mission is cyberspace support, responsible for technology development, acquisition, sustainment, and demilitarization of cybersecurity systems and products.

This is a Full Time, On-Site position located at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.



Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

    Provide configuration and CDRL data management (CM/DM), quality assurance, program/project support, requirements analysis, risk management, and software engineering services in accordance with the program's CM Plan, Air Force SEAM CM processes, and PMO practices.

  • Support a range of activities in configuration management, quality assurance, risk management, and software engineering as outlined in the task order PWS.

  • Manage the configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and plan/conduct design audits to enable Government ownership of the program's technical baseline.

  • Convene and manage Configuration Control Boards and Technical Review Boards, recording approved changes and results.

  • Review and analyze proposed changes to ensure operational and sustainment capabilities remain intact.

  • Prepare for and support major audits, such as Physical and Functional Configuration Audits, and maintain detailed audit records.

  • Collaborate closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, draftsmen, and design/manufacturing engineers in an integrated product team environment.

  • Develop and administer CM plans, maintain design traceability and integrity, and support licensing tasks and software delivery to users.

  • Maintain the CM library, manage product baselines, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of CDRL data deliverables.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant DoD directives and guidelines (e.g., DoDI 5230.24, DoDD 5230.25, DoD 5010.12-M, DoDI 5000.02, DFARS 252.227-7013, DFARS 252.227-7014, and the ASSIST database).



Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance

Education: Bachelor's degree

Years of Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience, including at least five years in a DoD environment

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master's degree in a relevant field

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in configuration management processes and tools

  • Experience with software configuration, engineering documents, and data management systems

  • Familiarity with DoD CM and CDRL standards and guidelines

Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Ability to work effectively in an integrated product team environment
