Head of Finance
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Finance will have overall fiscal responsibility for eMoney Advisor. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in SaaS, board presentations, team leadership, and C-level management. The Head of Finance will oversee multiple departments, including Accounting, Facilities, Finance, ePMO, and Legal Operations, ensuring effective collaboration and accountability across all areas. This position will also sit on the Core Leadership Team (CLT), playing a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the company
Responsibilities:
  • Finance, Strategy, and Planning:Lead financial planning and analysis, enterprise program management, strategy development, market and competitor assessment, financial modeling, scenario planning, and business performance analysis. Ensure effective governance and decision-making processes for strategic investments and KPI reporting.
  • Accounting/Billing:Oversee financial/accounting policies and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial statements. Lead all audit activities, payroll, billing operations, and contract maintenance.
  • Facilities Management:Manage the operational readiness and physical management of all eMoney facilities. Oversee space planning, capital improvements, and facilities budget, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Legal:Oversee all legal affairs, including transaction structuring, intellectual property protection, litigation, data privacy, and internal policy support. Provide strategic legal vision and partnership across corporate functions.
  • ePMO: Manage projects and launches across the organization, requiring high levels of cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and prioritization
  • Set financial goals and objectives aligned with eMoney Board expectations and incentive programs.
  • Develop and oversee multi-year strategic plans to achieve top-line growth and profitability.
  • Ensure operational and organizational readiness to meet strategic objectives.
  • Drive a culture of disciplined expense management to deliver results aligned with the plan.
  • Maintain overall economic stability and health of the organization.
  • Prepare for board meetings and strategic updates through regular CLT offsites.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience, preferably in a software development environment or financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in SaaS, board presentations, team leadership, and C-level management.
Skills:
  • Strategic thinker with strong influence skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, accounting, and reporting practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to senior leaders.
  • Experience in the FinTech or Financial Services industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, both in team management and cross-functional leadership.
  • High initiative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and process management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The salary range for this position is $240,000 - $346,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise. This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.
