Corewell Health is seeking a board-certified General Surgeon with certification in Surgical Critical Care to join our established team at Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a cohesive and well-supported group of two employed general surgeons, with an emphasis on collaborative practice and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate must be certified in Surgical Critical Care. Responsibilities will include managing the surgical intensive care unit (SICU), performing general surgical procedures, and contributing to surgical call coverage. The ability to perform colonoscopies is strongly desired, and robotic skills are a plus. The physician will also provide consultative services and work closely with multidisciplinary teams. This role will be primarily based at Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe, with 25-40% of clinical responsibilities at the Corewell Health Lenox facility depending on departmental needs. Corewell Health Lenox is a newly established facility in Macomb County, designed to increase access to surgical and emergency care. The site features modern surgical suites and supports a growing volume of general surgical cases in a suburban setting.
