Job Description We are seeking a computational biologist with expertise in driving forward biological discoveries to join Vertex. This position is part of a global Data and Computational Sciences team focused on developing Cell and Genetic Therapy treatments of serious human diseases. You will collaborate closely with a research team dedicated to discovering and actualizing the next generation of cell and genetic therapies in diseases including type 1 diabetes and muscular dystrophy. You will design genomics studies, develop and apply analyses, and interpret the outcome, while having a critical impact on the development of transformative therapies, and the understanding of cell biology and therapeutic in vivo gene editing. You will play a key role in innovating, evaluating, and applying cutting-edge computational methods that will enable us to make rapid, data-driven decisions. Proactive communication, and seamless cross-functional collaboration will be required for success in this role. Key responsibilities:
