Overview

Civil & Environmental Consultants is growing, and we're seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Bridge Engineering Principal to lead our Bridge design team in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This is a high-impact leadership role for a motivated professional that is ready to shape the future of bridge engineering in the region.

As a Principal and CEC, you'll be at the forefront of project delivery, client engagement, and team development. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented engineers in the industry - while advancing your own career and contributing t the strategic growth of our bridge engineering practice.

Key Responsibilities:

    Lead the design, planning, and execution of bridge projects to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Drive business development efforts and contribute to strategic planning for market growth in West Virginia and surrounding regions.
  • Collaborate on project pursuits, proposals, scopes, and schedules.
  • Oversee multi-disciplinary project teams, including geotechnical, roadway, and permitting professionals.
  • Ensure quality assurance and technical excellence across all project documentation.
  • Mentor and develop engineering staff across all levels, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) registration in WV, or ability to be registered with reciprocity;
  • 15+ years of proven experience in bridge design, including leadership on design-build and design-bid-build projects;
  • Proven success in client relationship management and proposal development;
  • Strong background in business development and project pursuit strategy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required;
  • Proficiency with MicroStation, Civil 3D and bridge design software;
  • Demonstrated communication and team leadership skills;
