Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location(s): Holly Springs, NC
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop readiness plans, schedules, and risk registers for multiple workstreams.
- Create detailed integrated schedules to ensure clear visibility of critical paths.
- Integrate and actively facilitate workstreams execution by close schedule monitoring, and facilitation of execution forums.
- Ensure internal alignment of schedules, as well as externally with construction and commissioning/qualification workstreams.
- Drive workstream communication strategy, with standardized progress tracking tools and processes for proactive monitoring, management and reporting of project deliverables.
- Ensure appropriate executive oversight across workstreams.
- Provide strategic guidance on overall project delivery to de-risk and optimize execution.
- Resolve workstream issues arising throughout the project, manage risk register, and escalate when appropriate to keep objectives and deliverables on track.
- Lead and facilitate workshops required to ensure project alignment, solve project challenges, identify gaps and advance site strategy.
Some preferred qualifications include:
- Strong and proactive leader who provides direction, sets high expectations, and measures performance.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical executable plans.
- Provides clear definition of workstream scope, roles and responsibilities, and resolves disputed areas.
- Thorough understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficient in project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Visio, Smartsheets, Miro, MS Teams).
- Experience managing medium to large-scale projects in a matrix organization.
- Knowledgeable in biotech DS manufacturing processes and support functions.
- Skilled in motivating teams to complete complex projects.
- Adept at working under tight deadlines and managing strategic changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Active communicator which communicates effectively with Project Team, Workstream Leaders, Site Leadership Team, and external partners.
- Proficient in building strong relationships and partnerships at all organizational levels.
- Strong ability to negotiate and influence.
- Data driven decision maker and problem solver, with strong analytical skills.
- PMP Certification a plus.
