Job Summary:

The Data Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's data infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and security in data operations. This role involves managing data workflows, optimizing data processes, and collaborating with various teams to support data-driven decision-making.

• Develop and Implement Data Policies: Establish data management policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.
• Database Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases and data systems.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team responsible for data entry, cleaning, checking, and standardization processes.
• Data Integration: Manage data integration from various sources and platforms to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to improve data infrastructure and implement appropriate tools and technologies.
• Quality Assurance: Perform regular audits and quality assessments of data to identify and resolve issues.
• Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and trends, supporting decision-making across departments.
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports and visuals to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management, analytics, and technology.

• AWS Cloud Management: Oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of data infrastructure on AWS.
• AWS Services Utilization: Utilize AWS services such as Amazon RDS, Redshift, S3, and Glue for efficient data storage, processing, and integration.
• Security and Compliance: Implement AWS security best practices to ensure data protection and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Cost Management: Monitor and optimize AWS costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Automation: Develop and manage automated data workflows using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and other serverless technologies.
• Performance Monitoring: Use AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools to track the performance and health of data systems.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience: Proven experience in data management, operations, and analysis, with several years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• AWS Skills: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as RDS, Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and trends.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Leadership: Experience leading and developing a team, with a track record of building high-performing and collaborative teams.
