| Position Description: |
The Department of Classics at The University of Iowa invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Biblical Studies for the 2025-2026 academic year, with the potential to extend up to three years based on instructional needs and satisfactory performance. This is a non-tenure track position. The teaching load is eight courses, or 24 semester hours, per academic year. The successful candidate will have expertise in Hebrew Bible and/or New Testament, experience teaching courses in Biblical Studies, and demonstrated knowledge of Biblical Hebrew and/or Ancient Greek.
