Quality Specialist

SUMMARY:

SNF Holding Company is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Responsible Care/ Corporate ISO 9001:2015 Quality Specialist I to play a vital role in ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of our quality management system. As the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Specialist, I will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting internal audits to assess adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards across the organization. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. The Quality Specialist will report to the Quality Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Trackingandhandlingcustomercomplaints.
• ReviewingandevaluatinglabdataandcorrectiveactionreportssubmittedbySMEs.
• Generatereportsaspartofthe complaintclosureverificationprocess.
• Achieve ISO Internal Auditor certification within the first year.
• Participateininternalauditsandtheauditingofrootcauseanalysisreportsastheyrelatetocustomercomplaintsandinternaloff-specinvestigations.
• Supportthegenerationofstatisticaldataforoperations,sales,andmanagement.
• Support procurement and other departments with supplier, vendor, and customer audits.
• Participateinqualitywalksthroughtheplantstoeliminateopportunitiesfordefects.
• Conduct meetings with production specialists regarding complaints, issues, etc.
• RepresenttheQAdepartmentatcompanyimprovementactivitiesandmeetings.
• Work closely with production, operations, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all stages of the production and delivery process.
• Cosmetic ingredient manufacture critical personnel must be aware of, implement, and support good manufacturing practices (GMP) required to conform to the guidelines recommended by agencies that control the authorization and licensing of the manufacture and sale of cosmetic products.

• A bachelor'sdegreeor two-plus years of quality assurance experience is required.
• Excellentcommunicationskills-especiallywritten:internalemail,correspondencewithcustomers,managers,etc.
• Goodtimemanagementskillsin managinglabsamples,collectingandanalyzinglabdata,maintainingstatus reports,andconductingcomplaintfollow-up.
• A labbackgroundishighlydesirable-oratleastabasicunderstandingoflabdataandproductlines.
• Effectiveanalytical,problem-solving,andmulti-taskingskills.
• ComputerproficiencyinallMSOfficeSoftwareApplications.
• Candidatesshoulddemonstratestrongcustomerfocusandaworkethicofseekingcontinualimprovement.
• Abilitytoaddressissues,followup,andimplementsolutionsasrequired.
• Mustbeateamplayerandabletoworkwellwithteamsrepresentingallareasoftheorganization.
• Travel may be required to conduct audits at various company locations.
