Texas Woman's University - Denton Campus The Doswell School of Aeronautics Sciences Title: Fulltime Lecturer Date Closed: Review of applications will begin April 1, 2025, and will continue until the position is filled. The position is expected to begin by August 2025. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Doswell School Aeronautical Sciences department located in the Arts and Sciences academic division contributes significantly to the mission of the University through scholarly endeavors, engagement of students, and outreach to the community and the aviation profession. The department offers a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science with two tracks: Professional Pilot and Aviation Management to begin in the 2024 academic year. The Doswell School of Aeronautics Sciences at Texas Woman's University is seeking a Fulltime Lecturer faculty member. The candidate will teach undergraduate courses in the Aviation Science program to include courses associated with the CFR14 *141 flight training program. Minimum Educational Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Lecturer position is intended to provide classroom instruction for the Aviation Science program as a fulltime instructor. The position will instruct in all approved CFR 14 *141 Ground School Courses in the flight program to include Private Pilot, Instrument Flight, Commercial Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor/Instrument. The instructor will also instruct in non-*141 Aviation Science (AVS) courses within the 60 Scholastic Credit Hours of the total BS Aviation Science degree curriculum. The position incudes participating in various program/school marketing and promotional events as well as service to professional organizations, and service to the university including participation in department, college and university committees.
