Responsibilities
- Establishes and follows standards and templates for proposal art consistent with corporate branding.
- Reviews, interprets, and raises questions about RFP requirements related to graphics.
- Generates proposal-specific templates to comply with RFP requirements.
- Collaborates with proposal team to plan, analyze, create, and revise original proposal graphic content that effectively communicates solution discriminators and win themes.
- Identifies the most effective way to get messages across in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques.
- Builds and maintains graphics repositories of templates, exemplars, previous proposal content, and modifies previous content to meet proposal-specific needs.
- Uses full range of graphics techniques to enable effective proposal orals slide presentation content.
- Supports marketing communication in developing promotional displays, marketing brochures, web pages, interactive media, and multimedia projects.
- Advocates for proposal center visual guidelines and palettes.
- Assists with documenting, maintaining, and using internal proposal processes.
- Adheres to processes related to version control, file naming, and file maintenance.
- Builds and assembles hardcopy or softcopy sets for internal use and submittal to customers.
- Contributes to and benefits from maintaining a collaborative environment-expanding skills and mentoring others.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Must possess and have the ability to maintain a current an active TS/SCI
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Poly
- Recent proposal experience with Shipley-based new business processes
- Strong Microsoft Word skills, including applying style templates to generate compliant proposals
- Desired:
- Bachelor's (or 4 years relevant experience) plus 8-10 years of experience, or a Master's with 6-8 years of experience.
- Familiarity integrating graphics into proposal documents
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, including using multi-authoring for document collaboration and Track Changes
- Experience providing technical writing, particularly related to IT and cybersecurity, for Federal Government proposals.
- Experience using artificial intelligence (AI) tools to compose proposal sections.
- Understanding of Government RFPs and the source selection process.
- Adaptability to changing requirements and dynamic schedules.
