We have an exciting opportunity for an GXP/Quality Manager to manage and drive performance of a team of Import specialists (agents) to ensure customer and operations requirements are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implements and maintains quality and GxP procedures and systems. Implements and maintains environmental management procedures and systems.
  • Verifies accuracy of records, documents, and products. Ensures customer complaints are handled effectively.
  • Oversees incident management program and assigns investigation case owner. Conducts self-assessments and vendor assessments.
  • Assists station management during internal and / or customer audits. Reviews and evaluates existing quality control procedures to include compliance with required audits of GXP.
  • Assists in developing local LSHC KPIs. Monitor, measures and communicates LSHC local KPIs on monthly basis.
  • Continuously improves implemented local work instructions regarding equipment and test methods used.
  • Writes and/or reviews test procedures, standard operating procedures, analytical reports, CAPA and analytical qualification reports.
  • Participates in risk assessment exercises. Among other activities.
  • Lean Six Sigma Preferred

Skills / Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Experience using Cargo wise software a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to GxP and quality assurance.
  • Proficient in writing and reviewing standard operating procedures (SOPs), test procedures, and analytical reports.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess quality control procedures and compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to monitor, measure, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and facilitate training.
  • High attention to detail to ensure compliance and accuracy in all aspects of quality management.
Pay Range: $23.36 - $31.14 / hour+ (Based on Experience)
