Overview

We are currently seeking a Unit Deployment Manager to work in a collaborative and innovative environment to support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). This is an amazing opportunity to directly support global Command and Control Mission Support program.



Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

    Achieving operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; ensuring product quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements and implementing change.
  • Develop briefings, system architectures, and risk analysis.
  • Candidate must be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to coordinate work performed and serve as the point of contact with the Government Portfolio Managers and Technical Representatives.
  • Provide leadership and management, oversight, control and direction to all team members including subcontractors.
  • Provide frequent and open channels of communication within a team environment and with government partners for the management of multiple program activities.


Minimum Requirements

  • Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
  • A University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 4 years related project scheduling experience, required.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Suite of tools to coordinate and execute a deployment schedule
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat DC.
  • Familiarity with the Foreign Clearance Guide and joint travel regulations.
  • Effective communicator via various means (telephone, email, memorandum, collaboration tools (e.g. Teams, Slack, etc).


Desired Qualifications

  • Military Deployment experience.
  • Experience coordinating visa and passports to facilitate travel.
  • Familiar with use of the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence) for task management.
