How can you make an impact?

The Director of Enterprise, Product is responsible for the creation and execution of Higher Education's inaugural product strategy into a diverse and complex enterprise market. Adopting an entrepreneurial spirit, you are responsible for the development of the organization's vision for winning new market share and achieving financial expectations. This role is the future of McGraw Hill's product team, specifically by transforming the organization into a flexible enterprise partner able to support higher education institutions with a suite of configurable products and solutions.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Innovate and execute a multi-year product strategy with a focus on new market financial growth at the higher education enterprise level
  • Analyze competitive landscape, emerging trends, and regulatory changes to inform product strategy
  • Author business cases to secure funding and manage a multi-year P&L
  • Identify gaps in the market, assess customer needs, and define market entry strategies
  • Translate market insights into actionable product strategies that drive growth and innovation
  • Leverage business experience and interpersonal skills to build cross-functional teams that include product, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure product-market fit and go-to-market approach
  • Champion product throughout all levels of the organization, including compelling presentations for senior leadership and/or other corporate stakeholders

We are looking for someone with...

10+ Years of Relevant Experience in the following

  • Proven ability to analyze data, develop strategic plans, and implement product innovation in crowded markets
  • P&L creation and management to support new market opportunities
  • Pitching product ideas-strong story-telling and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of successfully working horizontally and vertically across an organization
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage, influence, and motivate
  • Thrives in ambiguity; adapts and pivots quickly in response to changing conditions

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience in higher education ecosystem
  • Experience in creating, managing, or selling enterprise products or services
  • Consultancy experience
  • Desire to build own business as general manager within McGraw Hill

The pay range for this position is between $140,975 - $155,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
