The incumbent will perform remote cardiac device interrogation follow up, in office cardiac device checks, manage patient device data to ensure accurate patient tracking and report abnormal findings to providers, rooming patients, returning phone calls, triage patient needs, assist in scheduling outpatient EP procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Associate's degree in health sciences or related field. 2. Certification as Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor's degree in health sciences or related field. EXPERIENCE: 1. Prior experience as in electrophysiology or device technician. Perform in office cardiac device checks. 3. Ensure patients are ready for procedures and provide pre-procedural instruction 4. Monitor patients' clinical statues and cardiovascular hemodynamics during procedures 5. Manage patient device data to ensure accurate patient tracking. 6. Analyze and interpret data from procedures 7. Report any abnormal findings to the provider/physician. 8. Ensure equipment is working properly and maintain it in the outpatient setting. 9. Assist in rooming patients. 10. Perform administrative duties such as taking and returning phone calls to patients. 11. Triage patient needs. 10. Assist in scheduling outpatient electrophysiology procedures.
