Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Responsibilities for this Position

As a Sr Advanced ILS Specialist - Fleet Documentation (PDL), you will lead a cross functional team responsible for the full development and delivery of all user documentation needed for the Navy to operate and maintain the next generation strategic deterrent weapon system. You will work with Navy customer and users, systems, hardware and software engineers, and technical writers to plan and execute the project(s). The ideal candidate has experience leading small teams and developing user documentation (especially IETMs), an understanding of Strategic Programs (SP) development and support programs and enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, however, we are willing to train the right candidate.

PDL Responsibilities

  • Program-specific projects and documentation deliverables
  • Developing documentation requirements
  • Coordinating and interfacing with local Navy Program Management Office (PMO) and the customer for customer presentation reviews and new or changed documentation scope
  • Coordinating and interfacing with other organizations and stakeholders
  • Working with GDMS program managers to develop and track budgets
  • Developing and monitoring program schedules and deliveries
  • Planning, scheduling, and tracking to completion documentation deliverables
  • In interfaces with PMO and SP, acts as the responsible individual for technical content in new or changed documentation

Workplace Options

This position can be fully on-site or flex (ideally able to be on site 3 days/week)
While on-site, you will be a part of the Pittsfield Mass facility

Target salary range: USD $115,000.00/Yr. - USD $124,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
