We are looking for an experienced Physical Security Systems Team Lead to help manage projects and support operations sustainment of an enterprise security system. In this position, you will interface with team members, vendors and the client regularly, develop and present reports, identify process gaps and improve the overall system management. The selected candidate will contribute to evolving the new systems deployments service line and tech refresh life cycle projects service line to help manage the enterprise security systems.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for managing projects, meeting key milestones, coordinating with other teams, delivering projects on time and quality. Audit projects to ensure quality in preparation for delivery. Identify process gaps and areas of improvement that have an impact across the program.
  • The selected candidate will create and update documentation, playbooks and workflows as necessary when information is incorrect or obsolete.
  • The selected candidate will create detailed project plans that include schedules, scope, deliverables, timeline and key milestones. The candidate will lead projects and use project management methodologies and tools.
  • The selected candidate will report weekly, monthly and quarterly project statuses and performance to key stakeholders.
  • The selected candidate will orchestrate and coordinate with various teams and stakeholders, and work with both technical and non-technical groups.
  • Lead and manage the Bay Area & Americas team:
  • Manage the schedule of their associated team to ensure proper coverage and working hours compliance.
  • Assist in new hire onboarding training as needed.
  • Manage team workload priorities to meet project goals, customer experience and commitments.
  • Ensure team members are trained on new processes, procedures and systems.
  • Develop team members to reach their maximum potential for their role.
  • Report weekly, monthly and quarterly project statuses, lessons learned and trend analysis to key stakeholders.
  • Interface regularly with Google physical security, Google corporate IT, and other relevant teams.
  • Coordinate and prioritize incoming requirements to include tickets, emails and other customer requests.
  • Suggest/Implement program changes and enhancements to align and meet the goals of the organization strategy.
  • Meet weekly with the Program Manager to discuss operational status and any escalations.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and escalation point for Google on security systems, system performance, installations, and sustainment programs as required by Google.
  • Manage, mitigate, and communicate the impact of all system outages and major changes to Google Management and stakeholders.
  • Take ownership in escalation communication and engagement with leaders from other teams.
  • Support the intake of new processes, workflows and procedures for new security systems ingestion.
  • Forecasting estimated time required to complete an assignment, task or project effort on a weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual basis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and to detailed solutions.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and impact of the team.
  • Be an effective communicator and provide clear guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • A positive influencer across diverse teams and be able to effectively rally support for your initiatives, and be able to help deeply technical teams create simple solutions to meet your goals.
  • Own the scope, road map, implementation and tracking of projects from start to finish.
  • Set goals, track deliverables, manage expectations, identify risk and drive mitigations across all stages of the project.
  • Escalate issues and coordinate with additional Contractor management and engineering resources as needed to resolve system issues.
  • Manage project admin schedules and adjust as needed to support the project.
  • Ability to prioritize well, be proactive in removing roadblocks, pave the way for innovation, and can handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead end-to-end roll-out of global projects in partnership with various stakeholders and adapt to changing requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google suite platform
  • Experience with Physical Security Systems such as Access Control (CCURE), Video Management, and Intrusion Detection
  • Excellent communication skills verbally, through email and chat groups
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate work logs
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of technical resources

Candidate/Position Requirements:

  • Demonstrate significant technical experience and/or Bachelor's Degree (Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other similar programs)
  • Experience and skills project management
  • Possess excellent organizational and file management skills and the ability to plan and execute administrative work with little supervision
  • Support and author playbooks, white papers for information sharing and collaboration - Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
  • CCure Installer/Maintainer Certification
  • 3+ Years experience managing multiple physical security software/hardware products such as Video Surveillance, Keybox Management, Access Control, etc.
  • 3+ Years experience with interfacing with vendors, clients, and other subject matter experts over matters of system upgrades, bugs, and features
  • 3+ years' experience managing/leading a team of both technical and non-technical personnel
  • 3+ years' experience with organizing and communicating metrics, milestones, and key team information to an executive audience
  • 3+ years' experience with leading projects using industry known project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.

Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information.

Position / Candidate Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems or
  • Associates with 8+ years of experience or
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years experience or
  • Master's Degree with 3+ years experience
  • System administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, and implementing new workstations and system extensions
  • Reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional nights and weekends
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS

Desired / Advantageous Qualifications

  • Vendor certifications for electronic systems
  • One (1) to three (3) years of RF experience
  • Working knowledge of RF test equipment such as antennas, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers
