City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Additional Job Description Sentara Norfolk General is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technician for the PVI lab. Full Time Day Shift, with some call. If you have experience in invasive diagnostic, therapeutic and/or interventional radiology procedures - this position is for you! Perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and /or interventional procedures; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations; participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities. Must have successfully completed a Radiologic Technology Program; must be ARRT or RCIS registered and have BLS certification. One year experience in invasive diagnostic, therapeutic and/or interventional procedures required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment, supplies, and patients.
