Your tasks The Material Handler ensures the efficient and correct transfer of injected molded parts and materials to and from assigned work areas, assisting packers, assemblers, and machine operators as needed and ensuring the efficient and correct flow of product. Complete company sponsored product identification and product application training program. Achieve forklift licensing through attendance and completion of forklift training program within one year of obtaining this position. Efficiently transfer working parts and materials to and from assigned work areas. Assist packers, assemblers, and machine operators as needed. General housekeeping duties in areas of assignment. Compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Assist supervisor in new employee orientation to parts and case/pallet packaging to minimize errors. Supply cartons and pickup labels from the label room for the packers. Performs all other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor. Your profile High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to read, write, and speak English concisely. Ability to use a pallet jack. Obtain a certified forklift license within one year of obtaining position. Ability to communicate verbally and written with all levels of management and other employees. Ability to lift a minimum of 60 1bs. on a continual long-term basis. Working knowledge of HFA system. Strong analytical skills. Working knowledge and use of office equipment. Strong communication skills to include clear and concise English skills.
