Job Summary:

The Technical Instructor IV (Site Lead Instructional Design SME/Director) will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and functional understanding of applications and operational environments. This role involves developing learning outcomes, instructional materials, and conducting assessments. The individual will also collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in education or related field (years of experience plus a Bachelor's Degree may qualify)
  • 15+ years of experience required
  • Specialized knowledge in managing the development or revision of specialized training for large organizations
  • Design Thinking: Human-Centered Design
  • Experience with learner-centric design strategies
  • Strong analytical and visualization skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Proficiency in instructing and facilitating
  • Experience as an analyst
  • Project management experience in complex projects (Level 3-4)
  • Background in educational curriculum program management
  • Prior work experience within a DoD Program Center of Excellence
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a Center of Excellence environment


Responsibilities:



  • Research, plan, and develop training materials and strategies
  • Provide subject matter expertise in instructional design processes
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Monitor project tasks and communicate delays effectively
  • Offer technical advice to management officials
  • Assist in the development of program development processes standards and procedures


This position is contingent upon award of contract

This position requires a strong background in instructional design, project management, and expertise in the training and development field. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and excellence within a Center of Excellence environment.
