Construction Inspector I

PRIME AE Group, Inc. We are seeking all levels of inspectors from entry level to senior construction inspectors.

Position Overview:

The primary function of this role will be to assist in monitoring and inspecting infrastructure construction projects in the field.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform earthwork, concrete, structural, drainage, asphalt, water, sewer, utility, and materials inspections on construction projects.
• Support project activities by performing calculations, measurements, documentation, and other technical and engineering-related functions.
• Perform verification or acceptance testing of construction materials in the field or at the laboratory.
• Correspond with impacted stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in construction inspection or construction material testing.
• Associates Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other STEM degree preferred.
• A valid drivers' license.
• Basic understanding of construction specifications and processes.
• Other certifications such as ODOT, NICET, Asphalt, and American Concrete Institute (ACI) concrete field testing, etc. are preferred. However, all necessary certifications and recertifications will be paid for by PRIME.
