Sr. Manager, Executive Communications

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced communications professional with extensive executive-level experience to drive strategic communications for critical members of Lam's leadership team. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the technology sector, with semiconductor experience highly preferred.

In this role, you will develop content and execute communications programs for both internal and external audiences. Your work will effectively connect Lam's business strategy, innovations, and values for key audiences, establishing thought leadership while strengthening our market prominence in the semiconductor industry. In addition, you'll help showcase our commitment to driving positive global change and creating meaningful social impact across the diverse communities where we operate worldwide.

This role is highly collaborative, responsible for partnering and gathering insights from a variety of stakeholders. You will source content from across the organization to transform complex technology and business topics into a compelling narrative that drives measurable results through a variety of communications channels.

Job Responsibilities

• Create content that will engage, inspire, and inform employee audiences across a variety of channels, including All Employee Meetings, presentations, Lam's intranet, blog, video, and social media platforms.
• Create keynote presentations, speeches, and talking points for external events and customer engagements that have maximum impact.
• Draft concise, well-informed briefing materials to prepare for internal and external engagements.
• Define and manage tactics, channels, messages, and audiences for highest impact and efficient use of an executive's time.
• Partner closely with the media and investor relations teams as well as the global customer organization to ensure clear messaging across media, investor, and customer engagements.
• Implement processes that drive long-term planning, high-quality content gathering, and rigorous execution across all aspects of executive communications.
• Engage across the extended communications team to incorporate the right mix of strategies and assets.
• Manage and engage with agencies and contractors on a variety of projects and initiatives while maintaining appropriate project timelines to meet required deadlines.

Job Qualifications & Key Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs or related field required;
• 8-12 years of previous corporate executive communications experience within multi-national public companies
• Proven ability to create and execute a communications strategy and plan that articulates the company vision and strategy while elevating an executive's voice.
• Experience supporting communications for senior-level leaders or C-Suite executives and knowledge of proven internal communications strategies and channels, with semiconductor industry experience preferred
• Passion for engaging in new and innovative communication channels and methods to drive breakthrough audience experiences
• Critical thinking and an ability to understand complex business issues to distill messaging for diverse audiences
• Understand how to balance strategy and business acumen to best invest resources and maximize impact
• An empowered self-starter able to work without significant oversight and follow through to impactful execution
• Prowess handling multiple projects, prioritizing and acting with a sense of urgency
• Must be a US Resident
• Ability to travel up 20%

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
