Founded in Chicago 40 years ago as a Delicatessen, Levy now finds itself as a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across 200 plus Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues across the country. The Director of Safety & Sanitation will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Company's workplace safety and sanitation programs, including all Loss Prevention Coordinators, and overseeing all claims. Job Summary Preferred Qualifications Skills & Experience: Experience in Food and Beverage Industry, primarily safety and/or sanitation Bachelor's degree Leadership and teamwork skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Flexibility to travel Key Responsibilities: Provides knowledgeable assistance in the reporting, and monitoring team member, foodborne illness, liquor liability and guest claims Partners with location management and Third Party Claims Administrator to ensure that injured employees return to work on modified duty as soon as possible Provides location management with training on safety and sanitation Provides knowledgeable assistance in the development and implementation of workplace safety and sanitation standards Partners with location management on the implementation and monitoring of workplace safety and sanitation policies and procedures Maintains the Risk Management Claims Tracking System (Origami) Maintains strong relationships and trains with loss prevention coordinators and sanitarians. Maintains Risk Management Core Signature (Standard Operating Procedure) and policies across our internal communication platforms Assists in preparation of RFPs for new business opportunities Completes monthly reports to management and other reports as required Travel to locations as required Other duties as assigned Apply to Levy today!
