Warehouse Lead Position Objective To maintain a stable deliver and dispatch performance of goods being issued to production and suppliers with best practice levels of quality, safety, health, environmental and delivery performance to be achieved, and action where continuous improvement is both real and visible. Accountabilities Maintain schedule for deliveries to customers and sub tier suppliers Ensure that QMS process controls are adhered to through the receiving, inventory control and shipping processes Maintain schedule for internal issuing to manufacturing processes Maintain batch control and traceability of raw materials; hardware; and finished and semi-finished goods Maintain accurate inventory control Implement and maintain safe working practices within the warehouse Coordinate and initiate all internal shipments including hazardous materials Responsibility for overseeing employees in shipping, receiving and inventory control Required Skills/Abilities Experience in a material handling environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MicroSoft Office Experience with a MRP or Warehouse Management operation system Understanding of stock control and inventory record accuracy Forklift certified Experience packaging and crating product for international shipments Ability to work in a team environment Lift 50 lbs Required Education High School diploma or GED equivalent is required Physical Requirements To perform the essential functions of the role, employees must be able to perform the following activities with or without reasonable accommodations: Regularly stand and walk throughout the facility, stand for long periods to perform job duties Regularly lift, carry (short distances), and push/pull up to 60 pounds using peer assistance and/or other lifting & material-handling equipment Occasionally reaches overhead and reaches out or down to perform duties Frequently climb steps, stairs, or ladders Occasionally bend, crawl, stoop, squat, or kneel Visual acuity to interpret readings on gauges and other measuring devices Use hands and fingers to manually inspect and assess, lift, rotate, and wrap or otherwise package parts Ability to climb up and down as necessary to board and operate forklift Visual ability to gauge distances, recognize and avoid obstacles to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Working Conditions and Work Environment Work is performed in a manufacturing warehouse environment where working conditions may vary significantly; the employee will be exposed to: Moderate Noise Excessive noise, hearing protection required (occasionally) Dust, smoke, fumes/vapors (occasionally) Extreme temperatures (occasionally) Sharp instruments including box cutters, scissors, and other tools used in packaging/shipping Hazardous equipment including forklifts, hand tools, cranes or other lifting devices, and other equipment used in a machine shop environment The use of PPE, including hearing protection, eye and hand protection, and use of safety footwear may be required *We appreciate your interest in Accurus Aerospace; however, only those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted.* Accurus offers a comprehensive employee benefit package upon completion of 30 days of employment.
