About Team / Role The Sales Trainer is a seasoned, experienced professional, who is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of WEX employees. This role requires a passion for facilitation and coaching, an in-depth understanding of adult learning principles, and the ability to adapt to the needs of a diverse learning audience. The Sales Trainer has an advanced knowledge of WEX products and services across the various company verticals. They will work with little to no direction from their supervisor and have the autonomy to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. They will work on complex, diverse assignments, acting as an advisor/coach to their peers, serving as an informal leader on the team. How you'll make an impact
Assigned to large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important projects. May have an advisory or coaching role. Develop and implement a dynamic content strategy that will organize content within locations and across systems to eliminate/minimize redundancy and to ensure that it is easily accessible to our audiences and presented in a way that our audiences want to view/find information. Ongoing, identify and implement changes that may be necessary or desired as the environment, technology and/or audience changes Develop and implement an ongoing, pro-active process with global sales business partners and peers to ensure that content is current and accurate - driving content updates as identified across platforms and programs. Be able to work with the sales managers to prioritize needs across several areas within the organization, influencing and directing them to keep a dynamic site that is organized, maintained and most effective for the business. Develop documentation guidelines and templates to ensure consistency and provide oversight for our area as appropriate Develop and maintain relationships with partners to ensure that we take full advantage of current and new technologies and new information trends available to our audiences including ability to deliver information in the most effective way Other duties include but not limited to writing and delivering Sales Training and Sales Operations Communications, building surveys to evaluate sales training effectiveness, building assessments to evaluate understanding of knowledge transfer of training programs. Skills will include Project Management, LMS Admin Knowledge, advanced skills in Microsoft Office Tools (Access Database, Excel) Knowledge in building assessments and effectively evaluating ROI, implementing training programs globally.
Experience you'll bring
College degree required in field compatible with business information management 3-5 Years of active sales experience required Familiarity with a variety of multi-media file formats and understanding of cross platform challenges Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, collaboration and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively through all communication types Strong PC, software and editing skills in the following programs: Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, Outlook, LMS, Salesforce, Excel, and Access) Experience with developing and designing online curriculum using a learning management system is preferred Project management experience preferred with ability to lead teams without formal reporting relationships and demonstrated ability to influence others 3-5 Years of Sales Coaching / Mentoringis preferred Business to Business Sales Experience is preferred
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
